CBA Activities

Mary Mackillop Outreach offers Community Based Activities (CBA) for a number of our clients. CBA outings generally consist of smaller groups. The purpose of these outings are for the clients to access their local community and feel like an integrated member. In some instances, clients will visit the same place and build up relationships. For example, bingo in a club setting.

 Similar to the bus trips, clients have a bi-monthly discussion to decide on where they would like to go. These suggestions are then integrated into the timetable.

Community Based Activities are often good opportunities to achieve individual goals that involve participation in the community or outdoor activities.
